The Way Italian Was Meant To Taste!
Today’s families are busier than ever. They long for a convenient Italian restaurant that offers more than just pizza. They want a place that feels warm and inviting – and has a menu with lots of variety and flavorful dishes. When Italian restaurant veteran Joe Bilotti saw that no one in the market was fulfilling this unmet need, Rotelli was born. Since 1999, Rotelli has been growing beyond our Florida roots. We now have stores operating in more than six states and are rapidly expanding into new territories. On July 22, 2003 the franchise expanded to Gahanna, Ohio.
Rotelli is a fast casual restaurant featuring a full italian menu. The restaurant holds 85 to 90 people and has a patio that adds outdoor seating for an additional 25 to 30 people. The Resturant occupies the end space in a strip mall that also is home to Buffalo Wild Wings and a UDF.
About The Owner
Gahanna Resident Michael Tamarkin has taken his 27 years of experience in drug store operations and turned a new leaf.
A basil leaf that is! Tamarkin has opened his first restaurant venture and now has over 5 years experience in the business. A self-described non-restaurateur, Tamarkin said the decision just seemed to make sense.
“I looked around and did some interviewing,” Tamarkin said. “My family loves Columbus, so we didn’t have an interest in relocating, so I decided to go off into business on my own.
Tamarkin has lived in Harrison Pond for 15 years. All three of his children are alumni of the Columbus Academy, which has a long standing catering relationship with the restaurant. Tamarkin who owns rights to develop and franchise Rotelli locations in all of central and southern Ohio said he has plans to open up 40 stores in the next 10 years.
